PedalCell places 2nd in VentureCat "Energy & Sustainability" Track
On May 24th, PedalCell placed 2nd in the “Energy & Sustainability” Track within the school-wide “VentureCat” competition held at Northwestern University. After making the semifinalist rounds, CEO Vishaal Mali and Northwestern student Christoph Aigner wowed the judges with an inspiring pitch and early-stage prototype. This accomplishment was a full team effort, with CTO Andrew Brown’s around-the-clock prototype development and COO Adam Hokin’s business modeling and multimedia production.
The competition took place at an all-day event held at the Kellogg School of Management. PedalCell was the youngest of teams among the prominently post-graduate participants. PedalCell was awarded $3000. Mali had to say, “It’s great to have this type of momentum moving into the Summer! VentureCat has definitely been a great experience for our young team as we hope to carry this momentum into Wildfire”.
