On February 20th, 2020, PedalCell placed first at mHUB Chicago's 2nd annual Venture Challenge Pitch Competition. PedalCell competed against five other hardware-based start-ups for a chance to win dilutive-free seed capital. Each participant gave a 5 minute pitch, followed by 5 minutes of question and answer from mHUB's venture board.

The grand prize of $17,500 was awarded to PedalCell, followed by Insignia Health, scoring second place with $5,000, and Skate Kastle coming in third with $2,500.
